Ingredients
Filling:
- 4 cups sliced apples (tart apples work well)
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/2 cup water
Crumble topping:
- 1 cup sugar (or 1/2 white and 1/2 brown sugar)
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter (4oz)
Method:
Tips: If your dish is filled to the top the filling and topping will ooze over the sides while baking so place a dish underneath.
This recipe can easily be doubled.
